The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur organized its 1st International Symposium

The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur organized its 1st International Symposium on ‘Virtual Assessment Tools, Challenges, and Way Forward’ on June 26 and 27, 2021, with the sponsorship of Sindh Higher Education Commission. This effort is timely when world academic activities are set online due to Covid-19 pandemic. Keeping it in view this symposium is the need of hour, said Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister Local Government, Religious Affairs, Forest & Wildlife Department, Housing Town Planning, Information & Archives Department, who graced the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest. During his inaugural address, he applauded the Vice Chancellor BNBWU for her determined attempts in developing the institute from the perspective of empowerment of Women and today’s event backs the statement.
The provincial Minister announced provision of solar based energy solution for the BNB WU and assured his support to resolve the internet connectivity also despite the financial constraints of GoS
Ms. Shahanaz Ali Wazir, President SZABIST & Former Member of National Assembly and Mr. Ahmed Ali Sarhoi, Embassador to Nigeria from Pakistan also joined the session as Guest of Honor and applauded the efforts of BNBWU in organizing international event on a very pertinent topic.
Various International & National eminent speakers are invited in a two day symposium to recommend the way forward for the Virtual Assessment & mitigate challenges associated with this.
Vice chancellors of various universities like KU , NED, DUET, SAU Tandojam, SALU, SIBA , BBSUTSD , BBS Women University KPK , Fatima Jinnah Women University for Women Karachi have participated in the event.
