BNBWU Celebrated World Physiotherapy Day

Physiotherapy Day marks the unity and solidarity of Global Physiotherapy Day. Department of Linguistics and Human Sciences celebrated World Physiotherapy Day at the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur. After the recitation of the Holy Quran, students of Doctor of Physical Therapy briefed about the history and importance of Physiotherapy in our daily life. Mir Arif Talpur gave a presentation on the awareness about rehabilitation after covid-19 and also focused on the importance of rehabilitation. Concluding remarks were given by the Chairperson of the Department Dr.Pir Suhail Sarhandi. He briefed the role of Physiotherapists in the treatment of management of people affected by Covid especially people combating with post surgery treatment. He also shared his personal experiences and thanked the worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain for providing this opportunity. He also thanked all the attendees of the event. All Heads of Departments, Director HR, Administration, faculty members and students were part of the event and cake cutting ceremony was held at the end of the event.
