The Education Department of the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, celebrated Teachers’ Day

The Education Department of the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur on Wednesday, 06th October, celebrated Teachers’ Day at the University to pay respect to the teachers and educational practitioners of the nation.To celebrate the day, Minister Transport & Mass Transit, Awais Qadir Shah joined as a Chief Guest of the celebrations, where he lauded the efforts of Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain Vice Chancellor BNBWU Sukkur for showing reverence to the teaching profession through this event. Other educationists including Dr. Irfan Ahmed Rind around the vicinity also joined the event. The event started with the magnificent on-stage performance by the Junior Students from Fairy Home Farzana Welfare Trust and Govt. Islamia High School Old Sukkur paying homage to the Teachers of the nation. And ended with the speech by Chief Guest, VC BNBWU & Dr. Asad Abbas Rizvi, Chairperson Department of Education. At the end with the Cake Cutting Ceremony was held and a Walk by the Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain Vice Chancellor BNBWU Sukkur along Chief Guest, the Faculty Members, Educationists, Students and Staff Members. Also, Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain VC BNBWU presented a shield to the Chief Guest, Souvenirs to the Faculty Members & Educationists, gifts to the performers and appreciation certificates to the students.
