Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur celebrated International Women’s Day

On 08th March 2022, the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur celebrated International Women’s Day at the University to mark and celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and raise awareness about women’s equality, accelerate gender parity. Alima Rehana Rafique, Member of BNBWU Syndicate, delivered a thought provoking lecture (Dars) on the occasion of Women’s Day to highlight perspective of gender equality in Islam and role and responsibilities of a woman in today’s era.The event was graced with the concluding speech of Prof. Dr. Shahzad Nasim, Worthy Vice Chancellor BNB Women University, where he enlightened audience on the efforts of BNB Women University in carrying out the university vision. Mr. Tauheed Ghani Mahesar, Manager Food & Market, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for Pakistan, along with his team also participated into the event.
