As part of the ongoing 78th Independence Day celebrations under the theme Maโarka-e-Haq with the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur under guidance of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj Vice Chancellor BNBWU hosted a solemn and heartfelt event titled A Day with the Families of Shuhada and a seminar on โRemembering our National Heroes: From 1947 to Bunyan-um-Marsoosโ to honor the unmatched sacrifices made by Pakistanโs brave sons.
The event paid rich tribute to the following Shuhada, who laid down their lives in the line of duty:

The families of the martyrs were invited to BNBWU and were honored with floral tributes, gifts as tokens of gratitude , and prayers offered by students and university officials.
Mr. Faisal Akram, SP / PSP Motorways Police, graced the event as Guest of Honour, while DSP Masroor Ali, also from Motorways Police, delivered an emotionally resonant speech as the guest speaker, highlighting the unwavering courage and spirit of the martyrs in defending Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor BNBWU, extended her deepest gratitude to the families of the Shuhada, stating:

She further added that the only way forward is through empowerment via education and mastery of modern skills, both for national development and defence, stressing that:

The event reflected the universityโs commitment to instilling values of patriotism, sacrifice, and service among students, especially young women, who were reminded that true independence is protected and preserved by the blood of our heroes.
