HEC team conducted accessibility audit for Wheelchair Facilities

HEC team conducted accessibility audit of BNB Women University Sukkur for Wheelchair Facilities, to ensure that the university comply with the Accessibility Code of Pakistan and other relevant accessibility standards in compliance to the Orders of the Hon’ble Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Mr Meer Hassan, Disability Officer, along with Mr Riaz Ahmed Qureshi, Deputy Director, visited the university for said audit. They thoroughly review the physical spaces such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, common rooms, cafeterias, toilets and other essential facilities either marked with relevant signage or not. The accessible routes were also evaluated.

The team also met with Accessibility Committee Members along with other key stakeholders of university and showed their satisfaction with the availability of relevant resources.
