To inculcate the importance of critical thinking and logical reasoning using various methods of investigation embracing observation, comparison, simulation, mathematical modelling & manipulation of data to enable students to view science as an interdisciplinary study applicable to societal & economic needs
Introduction
The Department of Natural Sciences is currently offering 2 four-year undergraduate programs: BS Mathematics and BS Physics. The Department’s highly qualified and motivated faculty promises quality education and a great learning experience for its students. The pedagogical approach is aligned with our vision & mission by imparting education through a blended approach of classroom teaching & experimentation/ simulations for hand on learning through practical application. Furthermore owing to the application and impact of science, education can best be acquired with an understanding of its larger cultural context. The Department is well equipped with laboratories for computing & applied physics. Textbook & reference books are recommended b HEC shall be available for students for lending & in-house reading.
