Department of Natural Sciences
Introduction
The Natural Sciences are a set of disciplines that use observation and experimentation to examine natural phenomena ranging from the non-living to the living world. Our objective is to use rigorous scientific and mathematical techniques to lead in understanding nature, from the micro world to galaxies on a cosmic scale.
The DoNS is offering three undergraduate degree programs BS Mathematics (Pure/Applied), BS Physics. And BS Statistics. The faculty members are proud of the exceptional students and staff members who make it possible for them to fulfil their commitment to excellence in both research and education.
The academic programs offered by the DoNS have been meticulously developed to build a resource pool of highly competent women who are able to satisfy the requirements of Pakistan's science and technology, banking, economics, and education sectors. The education of our students is ensured by our highly skilled teaching staff, purpose-built facilities, sufficient laboratories, library resources, and computer labs, as well as our dynamic and engaging learning environment. In addition, by providing them with ongoing supervision and counseling across a wide range of topics, we ensure that they have high intellectual talents.

Welcome to the DoNS at BNBWU. It is an honor to welcome prospective students, existing students, alumni, and guests. We began the DoNS with a single program in Mathematics - BS Mathematics (four-year). Mathematics is fundamental to all sciences, ranging from natural sciences to social sciences disciplines. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to include BS Physics (four- year) and, due to high demand from women students in the area, we are now introducing a new undergraduate program - BS Statistics (four-year) and MS Physics.
The scope of BS Statistics is vast and versatile, addressing the growing need for data analysis and interpretation across various fields. This program is designed to equip students with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preparing them for careers in industries such as finance, healthcare, government, and technology. With the increasing importance of data-driven decision-making, graduates of this program will be well-positioned to contribute significantly to the advancement of these sectors.
