Peace Building Theatre Workshop in Collaboration with SHARP Pakistan

Under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, in collaboration with the Society for Human Rights and Prisoners’ Aid (SHARP Pakistan), organized an impactful Peacebuilding Theatre Workshop aimed at promoting harmony, dialogue, and social awareness among students. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing students’ cognitive and critical thinking skills by engaging them with real-world challenges through awareness sessions and theatrical performances.

The powerful performance, centred around the theme “امن جوش سے نہیں، ہوش سے قائم ہوگا”, was witnessed by an engaged audience of around 100 students and faculty members. The message of peace through wisdom, not impulse, deeply resonated with attendees and sparked meaningful conversations on youth responsibility in conflict resolution.

Dr. Noor Brohi, on behalf of the university, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks and reaffirmed BNBWU’s mission, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj—to nurture intellectually robust, socially responsible, and empowered graduates ready to contribute meaningfully to society.
