Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor BNBWU has consistently emphasized the importance of quality assurance and institutional excellence, and under her visionary leadership, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur (BNBWU), organized an Awareness Session on Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Policies to strengthen academic standards and governance.
The session was jointly organized by the Centre for Women Empowerment, Research, and Trainings (CWERT) and the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). It was graced by Mr. Irfan Ullah, Director, QAA, Higher Education Commission, (HEC), as the guest speaker, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on accreditation standards, quality frameworks, and alignment with HEC policies.
He highlighted the importance of internal quality systems, continuous improvement, and outcome-based education in ensuring academic credibility and institutional performance. Faculty members and administrative staff actively participated in the interactive discussion.
The University acknowledges the dedicated efforts of Dr. Noor Ahmed Brohi and Mr. Rafiq Lakhan, Focal Persons, CWERT, along with Syed Rasool Shah and Attaullah Qureshi from QEC, BNBWU, for their effective coordination and commitment in organizing the event.
