A bachelor’s degree program in Artificial Intelligence (BS AI) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and applications. The program typically covers foundational knowledge in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, and statistics. Students delve into machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, as well as deep learning using neural networks. They gain skills in data science, data analysis, and data manipulation. The program may also include topics like natural language processing, robotics, and AI ethics. Students engage in hands-on projects and may have the option to specialize in areas such as computer vision or AI for business. The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of our Artificial Intelligence program are designed to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for a wide range of careers in industry, academia, government, and other sectors, and can contribute to the development and deployment of AI technologies in a responsible and effective manner. PEO - 1:To equip students with the knowledge and hard skills in the field of computing specializing in Artificial Intelligence to design, develop, and implement intelligent systems and application that can solve real-world problems.
PEO - 2: To analyse, evaluate and solve complex AI problems as per the requirements of the stakeholders and explain the design & functionality of AI systems and their implications. .
PEO - 3:To demonstrate ethical and professional behaviour, and understand the social, legal and ethical implications of AI systems and their impact on society.
