BS Artificial Intelligence

A bachelor’s degree program in Artificial Intelligence (BS AI) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and applications. The program typically covers foundational knowledge in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, and statistics. Students delve into machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, as well as deep learning using neural networks. They gain skills in data science, data analysis, and data manipulation. The program may also include topics like natural language processing, robotics, and AI ethics. Students engage in hands-on projects and may have the option to specialize in areas such as computer vision or AI for business. The scope of the program evolves with the rapid advancements in AI technology and its applications.

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of our Artificial Intelligence program are designed to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for a wide range of careers in industry, academia, government, and other sectors, and can contribute to the development and deployment of AI technologies in a responsible and effective manner. To meet the needs of our constituents, our Program Education Objectives state that within a few years of graduation our graduates will be able to:

PEO - 1:To equip students with the knowledge and hard skills in the field of computing specializing in Artificial Intelligence to design, develop, and implement intelligent systems and application that can solve real-world problems.
PEO - 2: To analyse, evaluate and solve complex AI problems as per the requirements of the stakeholders and explain the design & functionality of AI systems and their implications. .
PEO - 3:To demonstrate ethical and professional behaviour, and understand the social, legal and ethical implications of AI systems and their impact on society.
PEO - 4: To equip students with skills of life-long learning and professional development and stay updated with the latest developments and trends in AI and computing in general.

PLO - 1:Graduates will be able demonstrate a strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, and statistics, enabling them to apply AI concepts and techniques effectively to real-world problems.
PLO - 2: Graduates will have the ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex AI-related problems using critical thinking and innovative approaches, adapting to the evolving AI landscape.
PLO - 3: Graduates will be able to foster lifelong learning and professional development among graduates, encouraging them to stay updated with emerging AI technologies and advancements throughout their careers.
PLO - 4: Graduates will be proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, effectively communicating AI solutions and ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
