Test Pattern



Admission Test Pattern for Undergraduate Degree Program

The test will be based on the difficulty level in synch with Intermediate curricula as per following distribution:
Section 1: General Knowledge
Section 2: English
Section 3: General Math
Section 4: Analytical / Quantitative Reasoning
Section 5: Physics OR Basic Accounting OR Computer Science OR Chemistry OR English Literature OR Biology OR English Grammar & Reading Comprehension

Note : Each section shall contain 20 questions.
Physics section is compulsory for Candidates applying for BS Mathematics and BS Physics
English Literature/ English Grammar & Reading Comprehension are compulsory for candidates applying for BS English/ BS English (TESOL)
Biology section is compulsory for candidates applying for DPT, Biotechnology and BS Genetics
Rest may choose any of the given choices in section 5. Each correct answer will carry one mark in the aptitude test. There will be no negative marking.
The passing percentage of the aptitude test is 50%.
The merit list of the candidates in each discipline mentioned will be prepared according to following matrix


Percentage of Marks Multiplying Weightage
a) Matriculation (or equivalent certificate) 15%
b) Intermediate (Pre-Engineering / Pre - Medical / Arts / Commerce) / A levels / Diploma (or equivalent certificate). 10%
c) Aptitude test 60%
d) Interview 15%

Note: Based on the above table the composite percentage number (CPN)
CPN = 0.15*[Percentage Marks in matriculation (or equivalent certificate)] + 0.1*[Percentage Marks in Intermediate (or equivalent certificate)] + 0.6*[marks obtained in aptitude test] + 0.15*[marks obtained in Interview]




Admission Test Pattern for B.Ed (2.5 Year Model) Program


The test for B.Ed (2.5 years) will be based on the difficulty level in synch with Graduation (14 Years)
Section 1: General Knowledge
Section 2: English
Section 3: General Math
Section 4: Analytical / Quantitative Reasoning
Section 5: General Education

Note : Each section shall contain 20 question.
The passing percentage of the aptitude test is 50%.
The merit list of the candidates in each discipline mentioned will be prepared according to following matrix
