The continuous efforts of Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, to build strong academic and research collaborations with international organizations are strengthening the knowledge and research culture at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University, Sukkur.
In this spirit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between BNBWU and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The MoU covers joint initiatives and social research focused on health issues concerning mothers and adolescents, along with opportunities for paid internships, joint events, conferences, and exhibitions. These initiatives are aimed at empowering students with practical exposure and creating evidence-based knowledge for impactful community development.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj appreciated IRCโs partnership and highlighted that such collaborations enable the university to engage students and faculty in applied research while also opening pathways for professional growth. She reiterated BNBWUโs commitment to contribute towards addressing health challenges faced by women and youth in Sindh through meaningful partnerships and experiential learning.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from both institutions, including Mr. Shakeel Patrus, Senior Manager Health and Nutrition IRC. The event concluded with the signing of documents and marking the beginning of a collaborative journey for healthier and empowered communities.
