Celebrating national days plays a vital role in inculcating patriotism, national pride, and a sense of identity among the youth. In line with the visionary leadership of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur organized a graceful event on 9th November 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great national poet and philosopher, Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal.

The celebration aimed to enlighten students about the ideals and philosophy of Iqbalโ€”his message of Khudi (self-realization), empowerment, and unity of the Muslim Ummah. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by DPT student Mantasha Bhutto, followed by the soulful national anthem that echoed with enthusiasm and love for the homeland.

BS Physics student Manahil delivered a thought-provoking speech highlighting the journey of Allama Iqbal as a philosopher, reformer, and visionary who inspired generations to dream of a separate homeland and strive for intellectual awakening.

The celebration truly reflected BNBWUโ€™s commitment, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, to nurture patriotism, moral values, and critical consciousness among studentsโ€”empowering them to become enlightened citizens contributing to the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
