The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, warmly welcomed renowned Pakistani journalist, columnist, and television host, Mr. Wasatullah Khan-BBC URDU, and Mr Muhammad Dittal Kalhoro CEO SRSO – Sindh Rural Support Organization at The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur (BNBWU), during his visit to the university.
During the meeting, the Worthy Vice Chancellor briefed Mr. Wasatullah Khan on the vision and mandate of BNBWU, highlighting the Universityโs pivotal role in uplifting the overall education landscape of northern Sindh, particularly through expanding access to quality higher education for women, community uplift, and social empowerment. She also talked about the Universityโs efforts to connect with industries so that academic programs meet job market needs and help the local area grow.
The discussion further encompassed BNBWUโs efforts to strengthen research culture, promote innovation, and enhance community engagement as part of its broader mission to serve society. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the Universityโs commitment to creating an inclusive and enabling environment that prepares young women to become active contributors to the socio-economic development of the region.
