Biography

I am Maria Soomro, a Computer Science graduate with a strong academic foundation in Deep Learning, Blockchain and Cloud Computing. I completed my BS in Computer Science from Sukkur IBA University (2017–2021) and my MS in Computer Science from FAST–NUCES Karachi (2022–2024), where I graduated as a Gold Medalist. For my BS final year project, SmartQ, I developed a queue and arrival-time prediction system using React.js for institutional vendors and React Native for end-users. My MS thesis focused on Blockchain-Based Secure Interoperable Operations, emphasizing trust, data integrity, and secure communication. My research interests lie at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, intelligent systems, and next-generation networks. I am particularly interested in how AI can enhance security and medical applications, and how blockchain can support secure data interoperability. My recent publications reflect ongoing work in AI-driven cybersecurity, fake news detection, cooperative perception for intelligent networks, cloud-native architectures, and secure wireless infrastructure. My long-term goal is to grow as a researcher and contribute impactful work in the domains of AI, security, blockchain, cloud computing, intelligent systems, and next-generation networks.
