About Research & Training Club
Developing a Research-Oriented Academic Culture through Research Clubs initiative, introduced by the Research & Training Wing, Centre for Women Empowerment, Research & Training (CWERT) at The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, aims to foster a strong foundation of scholarly thinking across all departments. Aligned with the university’s commitment to women’s intellectual empowerment, this program enhances research awareness and engages students in structured academic inquiry.
Launched under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan, Vice Chancellor,The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, the initiative reflects her vision of strengthening research-driven learning. Her strategic guidance and emphasis on critical thinking, innovation, and academic excellence have been central in shaping BNBWU as a vibrant hub of women’s Scholars.
Goal
Vision
The long-term vision is to establish BNBWU as a leading institution in women’s research advancement, known for its culture of inquiry, innovation, and intellectual excellence. The initiative aspires to:

- Position the university as a regional model for empowering women through research, critical inquiry, and academic engagement.
Mission
The mission of this initiative is to create a sustainable academic environment where research becomes an integral part of student learning. Through weekly research article analysis sessions, guided faculty mentorship, and structured academic interactions, the program aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and scholarly research. It intends to cultivate analytical abilities, improve interpretive skills, and prepare students for postgraduate studies, research careers, and academic leadership.

𝐂𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐓-𝐁𝐍𝐁𝐖𝐔 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
Under her esteemed leadership, BNBWU Sukkur successfully conducted a Research Article Discussion Session, organized by the Research & Training Wing of CWERT.
The session was designed to strengthen students’ analytical and research skills by engaging them in critical discussions and reflections on scholarly articles. Students from multiple departments actively participated, fostering a vibrant environment of inquiry and academic dialogue. Through such initiatives, the Research Club at CWERT continues to serve as a dynamic platform for young scholars to explore innovative ideas, refine their research competencies, and cultivate a spirit of collaboration and intellectual curiosity.
