Biography
Ms. Sana Kira is a faculty member in the Department of Human and Rehabilitation Sciences at the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women's University, Sukkur, Pakistan. She has done M.Phil. (Chemistry) from H.E.J Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi. She did her M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad. Her Research interest is in Organic Synthesis, focusing on designing and synthesizing novel antimicrobial and antiseizure peptides using solid-phase and solution-phase synthesis and purification of organic compounds. Her Research seeks to contribute to the development of innovative treatments for infectious diseases and neurological disorders. She has expertise in spectroscopic techniques (UVVisible, IR, NMR, and mass spectrometry), as well as chromatography techniques (HPLC and UPLC).
