The first-ever women’s university in Sindh ‘The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur’ (BNBWU) conducted the entry test on 25-02-2023. The two academic blocks were used to establish eight examination rooms as the test centers across the campus. The varsity received almost three hundred online admission forms and approximately ninety percent of candidates appeared in the entry test.
The general aptitude test started at 10:30 am in the morning. The test was held for BS four years and MS two-year degree programs in the departments of Education, Human and Rehabilitation Sciences, Information and Communication Technologies, Linguistics and Social Sciences, Management and Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.
Separate waiting areas were established for the parents and sentinels of the candidates. The Resident Medical Team and ambulance were also present on the occasion to address any unforeseen medical conditions. To ensure the security of candidates the management established multiple safekeeping checks-points and senior students served as volunteers during the test hours.
The Vice-Chancellor of The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan while replying to the media representative’s question, said that the motive of BNBWU is to empower women through quality education and research. She emphasized that female education is the backbone of a civilized society.
The merit list of the successful candidates shall be displayed on 08-03-2023. The management of BNBWU wishes good luck to the candidates.
