Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal (PBM) undergraduate scholarship program’s cheque distribution ceremony for the academic year 2023-24

Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal (PBM) undergraduate scholarship program’s cheque distribution ceremony for the academic year 2023-24 was held on March 01, 2023. The chief guest Assistant Director PBM, Mr. Shabir Memon, and the Vice Chancellor, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur (BNBWU), Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan distributed the cheques among the students.

Thirty-eight deserving students from the different departments were awarded BPM undergraduate scholarships. The educational funds were awarded to the students who maintained a 03 CGPA. Addressing the cheque distribution ceremony, Assistant Director PBM, said that he would made efforts to increase the quota for female students for the grant. He hoped that the recipients would play a significant role in the development and prosperity of the university and society.

On the occasion, VC Prof. Dr Tahmina Mangan stated that the financial support provided by PBM will be a helping hand to deserving students. The grant will help the learners to explore the doors of higher education. She specially thanked PBM officials, Mr. Amir Fida Pracha (MD) and Dr. Adnan Majeed (Director PBM). The VC said that these scholarships are a source of diversity for students of different backgrounds. These opportunities enable the students to get education in universities and contribute for the development and progress of their families and country.

The Director Students Affairs Sqr Ldr (R) Aneela Kiran, and Finical Aid Officer Ms. Saira Nawaz held the cheque awarding ceremony. In the end, VC presented the souvenir to the chief guest.
