Untold Story of the Makran Tsunami (1945)

In continuation of ‘𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩’ lecture series led by Vice Chancellor 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐞𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐣 at BNBWU Sukkur, a special session took place on December 20, 2023. The title of the lecture was “𝐔𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢 (𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟓),” featuring guest speaker 𝐌𝐬. 𝐙𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐢, a renowned research writer and novelist.

𝐌𝐬. 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐢 shared fascinating details about the 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟓 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢, explaining its historical significance. She recounted stories of families who faced hardships during the tsunami and stressed the importance of preserving such stories for future generations.
