Inaugural Ceremony Report: Karachi Mangoes Exhibition and Families Festival 2024

The inaugural ceremony of the Karachi Mangoes Exhibition and Families Festival 2024 was held on July 05, 2024, at Karachi, jointly organized by Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, Maritime Museum Karachi, and TCN in collaboration with Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur , and other partner organizations.

The Vice Chancellors from Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam and Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Senior Management of Pakistan Navy & esteemed guests from academia, industry, and government graced the occasion.

The Honorable Chief Guest of the event was received by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam , Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri and Professor Dr Tehmina Nangraj, Incharge Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur & VC The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University, Sukkur.

The Senior Management, Pakistan Navy & Worthy Vice Chancellors from Tandojam and Khairpur, along with other dignitaries performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the exhibition.

The tour of the exhibition stalls showcasing various mango varieties, food stalls, and cultural performances was witnessed by the guests .

The display of diverse mango varieties from Sindh and other regions , food stalls offering traditional cuisine and mango-based delicacies followed by the interactive activities for families and children.

The event showcased the collaborative efforts of academic institutions, government organizations, and industry partners in promoting agriculture, culture, and family.

The inaugural ceremony marked a successful beginning to the Karachi Mangoes Exhibition and Families Festival 2024, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and agricultural diversity of Sindh. The event promises to be an exciting platform for families, food enthusiasts, and stakeholders to come together and appreciate the sweetness of Sindh’s mangoes.

Last but not least the announcement by In charge Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur and VC The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj to organize the Grand Azaadi Dates Exhibition and Families Festival 2024 in August 2024 in collaboration with Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam and Pakistan Maritime Museum was lauded by the revered guests .

The ceremony ended with a fellowship hightea.
