BNBWU Sukkur in collaboration with the Sindh Higher Education Commission, is conducting a 4-Day Faculty Development Program for Early Career Lecturers and Assistant Professors from October 29 to November 1, 2024 at BNBWU Sukkur. This comprehensive training is designed to enhance teaching effectiveness by focusing on pedagogical approaches, teaching philosophy, and the evolving roles of educators in higher education.
On the first day, BNBWU faculty members engaged in interactive sessions on teaching methodologies, well-defined teaching philosophy and best practices for overcoming educational challenges.
Prof Dr Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor of BNBWU Sukkur, highlighted the importance of continuous professional development for educators, stating, ” Training teachers in teaching pedagogies is crucial for their professional growth and the overall improvement of quality education. However, it is equally essential to implement follow-ups and consistent monitoring to ensure these methodologies are effectively applied in the classrooms. I sincerely thank Sindh HEC for their valuable partnership in organizing this 4-day training program.
