BNBWU Hosts Seminar on Workplace Harassment Act

The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur organized an awareness seminar on the Workplace Harassment Act of Pakistan on 12 February 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, BNBWU, The event aimed to educate students about creating a safe and respectful work environment. Ms. Sabika Shah, Regional Head, Sindh, Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of awareness and implementation of the law. Mr. Muhammad Aliyan, Assistant Law Officer, FOSPAH, presented a comprehensive

overview of the Act. A question-and-answer session followed, where Ms. Sabika Shah addressed studentsโ€™ queries. The seminar was well-attended, and BNBWUโ€™s initiative demonstrates its commitment to empowering students with knowledge and skills to navigate the workplace effectively.
