Two-Day Exhibition on Nutrition and Experience Sharing

Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, successfully hosted a two-day Exhibition on Nutrition and Experience Sharing on 25th and 26th February 2025. The event was organized in collaboration with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) – European Union in Pakistan, MERF-Medical Emergency Resilience Foundation, and Strengthening Participatory Organization – SPO, bringing together a diverse group of participants, including INGOs, NGOs, government organizations, community members, and students.

In her opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor of BNBWU, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and participants. She highlighted the critical role of nutrition, particularly among women, and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing key health challenges. Dr. Nangraj also reaffirmed BNBWU’s commitment to fostering international partnerships, positioning the university as a hub for research-driven solutions. She stressed that as the only general women’s university in Northern Sindh, BNBWU will actively contribute to discussions and initiatives that impact women’s health and well-being.

The exhibition provided a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing. Dr. Carlos and Dr. Barbara from the European Union actively participated in both days, sharing their expertise and insights on nutrition. Their contributions enriched discussions, offering innovative solutions and strategies for improved nutrition practices.

The event also featured interactive stalls, where organizations showcased their achievements, ongoing initiatives, and products. Students and community members engaged with industry experts, gaining firsthand knowledge about emerging trends and advancements in nutrition.
