The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur, under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, hosted an informative session on heart disease and diabetes prevention, promoting health awareness among its students, faculty, and staff.
Renowned cardiologist Dr. Tariq Sawand conducted the session, sharing valuable insights and expert advice on preventing and managing heart diseases and diabetes. The interactive session aimed to educate participants on adopting healthy lifestyles, recognizing early warning signs, and seeking timely medical interventions.
Taking the initiative a step further, BNBWU offered free screening tests for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels to all participants. This comprehensive health checkup enabled individuals to assess their health status and take proactive measures to mitigate potential risks.
