Professor Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor of Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), participated as a proud PUAN alumna and graced the event organized by the U.S. Consulate General Karachi in collaboration with United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN). The event featured a pre-reunion meet-and-greet and the PUAN Alumni Reunion, held at Hotel One, Sukkur.
The day commenced with an exclusive meet-and-greet session between select PUAN alumni and American officials, including Deputy Consul General Amy Hood and Public Affairs Officer Michael Chadwick.
In her remarks, the Vice Chancellor shared her journey as a participant in the “Developing Women Leadership in Higher Education” program at Michigan State University, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy Islamabad. She highlighted how the program significantly enhanced her leadership capabilities and led to the initiation of several new projects, including the Center for Women Empowerment and Leadership (CWEL) at BNBWU.
The event celebrated the ongoing impact of U.S.-Pakistan exchange programs in fostering leadership, collaboration, and the empowerment of women.
