BNBWU Conducts Review of Institutional Performance Evaluation (RIPE) under HEC Framework

Quality assurance has remained the cornerstone of the vision of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur. Her focused leadership continues to position BNBWU at the forefront of academic excellence, with a strong commitment to adopting and pioneering national quality assurance frameworks set by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.

In line with this vision, BNBWU successfully conducted the Review of Institutional Performance Evaluation (RIPE) on 26th and 27th June 2025, as per the HEC’s quality assurance framework. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan Abro, Director QEC at Sukkur IBA University and a Nationally Certified Reviewer by Sindh Higher Education Commission, served as the External Expert Reviewer.

Dr. Saeed appreciated the efforts of the university in maintaining strong institutional performance and recommended that BNBWU consider applying for international rankings such as QS, highlighting that the university has already implemented several activities aligned with global ranking criteria.

The review comprehensively covered key areas including governance, planning and management, teaching and learning, research, community engagement, and quality assurance mechanisms. Members of the Internal Review Committee actively facilitated the process, ensuring a smooth and effective evaluation.
