Following the vision of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, to nurture youth leadership and civic responsibility among students, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur organized an inspiring session titled โ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐งโ๐ฌ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐โ in collaboration with URAAN Pakistanโs Young Peace and Development Corps (YPDC).
The event, held on 5th November 2025 at the Universityโs Event Hall, aimed to instill a sense of purpose, social responsibility, and nation-building among young women. The session encouraged students to become proactive citizens who contribute to peace, sustainability, and development in Pakistan.
Speakers from URAAN YPDC shared their insights on the importance of youth participation in leadership, peacebuilding, and socio-economic growth. They highlighted how youth empowerment aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 5: Gender Equality, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangrajโs tireless efforts in promoting youth engagement, inclusive leadership, and quality education were appreciated, as BNBWU continues to provide a platform where young women can lead change and shape a better future for Pakistan.
The event reflected the universityโs ongoing commitment to empowering women as agents of peace and progress, contributing to both national development and global sustainability goals.
