Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur, a one-day workshop on โ€œPower Platform & Agentic AI for Future-Ready Professionalsโ€ was successfully organized on 10th November 2025 at the Smart Computer Lab, BNBWU. The event was held in collaboration with the Pakistan User Group (PUG), Karachi, reflecting the universityโ€™s continued efforts to integrate modern technologies into academic learning and to equip students with future-ready digital skills.

The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by empowering students with hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Agentic AI. Resource persons from PUG, including Mr. Mustajab (CTO, 1Dynamics Australia), Mr. Umair Siddiqui (VP, Enterprise Services, Mazik Global & Co-founder, PUG), and Mr. Hamad Sami (Senior Technical Consultant, Dynamics 365), conducted interactive sessions that enabled participants to develop low-code applications, automate workflows, and explore AI-driven innovations.

A total of 210 students registered, and 80 shortlisted participants from BSAI and BSCS programs engaged actively in practical demonstrations and discussions. The workshop also featured contributions from BNBWU faculty members Dr. Raza Sargani, Dr. Zulfiqar Zardari, and Mr. Masood Hussain, whose guidance ensured a meaningful learning experience.

In her message, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj appreciated the collaborative initiative, emphasizing that such technologically focused programs align with BNBWUโ€™s mission to produce globally competitive graduates. She expressed her vision to further strengthen ties with industry partners for internships, skill development, and research in emerging technologies.

The event concluded with a note of gratitude to the Pakistan User Group (PUG) team for their mentorship and support. Building on the workshopโ€™s success, both institutions agreed to formalize their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote internships, training programs, and joint innovation initiatives for students and faculty.

This initiative marks another milestone under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, reinforcing BNBWUโ€™s commitment to academic excellence, digital transformation, and womenโ€™s empowerment in the tech domain.
