The Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj warmly welcomed Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Minister for Local Government and Housing Town Planning (HTP), Sindh Government, along with renowned senior journalist Mr. Suhail Warraich, during their visit to The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur (BNBWU), The visit was also attended by Syed Kumail Haider Shah, Chairman, District Council Sukkur, and Mr. Nadir Shahzad Khan, Deputy Commissioner Sukkur, underscoring strong coordination between provincial leadership, local government, district administration, and the University.
During the visit, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah observed the ongoing development works, academic facilities, and student-centered initiatives at the University and expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of progress achieved within a short span of time. He interacted with students, sharing valuable insights drawn from his public service experience and encouraging them to pursue excellence, discipline, and professionalism.
Addressing the students on the occasion, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah announced a scholarship support package of PKR 20 million for deserving students. The initiative particularly aims to support ACCA students, covering examination fees and residency expenses in collaboration with Pakistan’s leading accountancy and audit firms, thereby enhancing access to professional education and career pathways.
