Under the futuristic vision and progressive leadership of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, to equip female students with essential life skills and practical empowerment, The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur has taken a proactive step by organizing a Learning Driving License Camp on campus.

This initiative not only promotes womenโ€™s independence and road safety awareness but also directly aligns with the Sindh Governmentโ€™s Free Pink EV Scooty Scheme, which offers electric scooties to eligible female students and working women across the province. As possession of a valid learning or permanent driving license is a key requirement of the provincial scheme, BNBWUโ€™s on-campus facility serves as a critical enabler for students aspiring to benefit from this opportunity.

Organized in collaboration with the Sindh Traffic Police, with the support of Mr. Muhammad Younis Chandio, DIG Traffic, License & Training, and Mr. Abdul Qudoos Kalwar, DSP Driving License, Regional Headquarters Sukkur, the camp reflects the Universityโ€™s commitment to translating policy-level initiatives into real, accessible benefits for its students.

Through such integrated and forward-looking efforts, BNBWU continues to strengthen its role as a catalyst for womenโ€™s socio-economic empowerment ensuring that its students are confident, mobile, self-reliant, and prepared to actively participate in society beyond the academic sphere
