In pursuit of its vision to build strong partnerships with civil society organizations, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University, Sukkur, under the leadership of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Riverside Development Organization (RDO).
The MoU outlines collaborative efforts in the fields of nutrition awareness, social research, student engagement, and capacity-building initiatives. The partnership is designed to provide BNBWU students with valuable exposure to community-based projects while enabling them to contribute to practical solutions addressing public health and social development.
From BNBWU, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Noor Ahmed Brohi, Director ORIC, and Dr. Nabiha Arain, Manager ORIC, along with faculty members and officials of the university. Representatives from RDO included Mrs. Bushra Muneer, Board Member RDO, and Ms. Hafsa Sarfaraz, Program Officer RDO.
On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Mangan appreciated the initiative, emphasizing that such collaborations enhance the university’s role in promoting applied research, social responsibility, and community development in Sindh.
The event concluded with the formal signing of the MoU and an exchange of souvenirs, marking the beginning of a purposeful partnership between BNBWU and RDO.
