In line with the Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangrajโ€™s continued efforts to strengthen academic quality, professional training, and institutional linkages, Prof. Dr. Nabila Anjum Soomro paid a visit to The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur (BNBWU) to observe academic facilities and discuss avenues for collaboration in the field of physiotherapy.

During her visit, Prof. Dr. Nabila Anjum Soomro appreciated the tireless efforts of Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj toward the development and strengthening of the Physiotherapy program, particularly in enhancing academic standards and student learning environments. She visited the departmentโ€™s laboratories, classrooms, smart classroom, and library, and shared valuable suggestions aimed at further improving studentsโ€™ practical skills and professional competencies in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

Prof. Dr. Nabila Anjum Soomro held an interactive meeting with the Chairperson, Program Coordinator, and faculty members of the department, during which matters related to curriculum enrichment, skills development, and professional training were discussed. She expressed her willingness to establish academic collaboration and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and BNBWU.

Furthermore, she offered multiple in-house internship opportunities and additional professional facilities for BNBWU DPT students at her institute to enhance clinical exposure and hands-on learning. She also invited the Worthy Vice Chancellor to visit the Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at her convenience to further strengthen institutional collaboration.

The visit marked a positive step towards fostering academicโ€“clinical linkages and expanding professional learning opportunities for physiotherapy students at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University.
