Computer Science has been a trending area of study in 21st century. The applications of this field are very dynamic and can be found in every walk of life. The Department of Information & Communication Technologies at BNBWU strives to prepare quality computer scientists by equipping them with skills & expertise required by national and international market. To meet the growing demand for specialized skills, we proudly offer programs including BS Computer Science and the newly launched BS Artificial Intelligence, designed to prepare students for careers at the forefront of technological innovation. Furthermore, valuable learning experience is provided to female students under the guidance and experience of capable and visionary faculty, coupled with modern Smart classrooms, a computer lab, and other required facilities. As the head of the department, I warmly welcome you and pledge to provide conducive learning environment & create lifetime experience for students at Department of Information & Communication Technologies.

Our mission is to train and prepare educated, self-reliant, and skilled women in leadership role and successful professionals with an urge for life-long learning. The core mission of the department is to contribute to society by providing quality learning experiences for the women through effective classroom practices, experiential and interactive learning, global engagement, and seize opportunities for meaningful correlation between academia and industry.
About the Department
The Department of Information and Communication Technologies is currently offering 4 year two programs i.e. BS Computer Science & BS Artificial Intelligence. The faculty members of the department are highly qualified with vast experience of teaching and research. The department is continuously working on updating and revising the course content according to the national and international standards and needs of the industry, thus paving the way for a more exciting and challenging venue for learning. We offer competitive academic program at the undergraduate level and are working actively toward establishing more rigorous programs in near future.
At the same time, we hope to provide our students with a positive and memorable stay at The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, practically at DICT, so that they may regard this part of their education, both socially and academically, as a special time of their lives.
