Komal Mazhar

Biography

Ms Komal Mazhar is faculty member at department of human and rehabilitation sciences BNBWU Pakistan. She has completed her graduation from PUMHSW nawabshah in 2019. a gold medalist in her graduation, she went on to earn her Master's degree in Neuromuscular physical therapy from Riphah International University Islamabad where she cultivated a strong interest in advancing evidence based care for neurological conditions.. Her research focuses on innovative strategies for stroke rehabilitation, including her master's project examining the effects of electrical stimulation and task-related training (TRT) on functional recovery in stroke patients. She has developed considerable expertise in motor learning,gait training and functional neuroplasticity. Her research interest centers on advancing neuromuscular recovery based on neuroplastic changes through emerging technologies, including neurostimulation, robotics-assisted therapy and task specific training.
