Biography

Dr. Muhammad Farooque Lanjwani is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human and Rehabilitation Sciences at The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU), Sukkur. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dr. M. A. Kazi Institute of Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Dr. Lanjwani has also gained international research exposure through a one-year Research Fellowship in Turkey under the Turkish Burslari Scholarship Program (2021–2022). During this fellowship, he presented his work at the 5th International Conference on Physical Chemistry & Functional Materials (PCFM2022) held at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, where he was honored with the Best Poster Award.
Nationally, he has accumulated significant research experience through various HEC-funded projects. Dr. Lanjwani has presented over 20 research papers at national conferences and has authored a total of 70 research publications, including 68 in international journals. Notably, he has served as the corresponding author about 25 of these publications. In addition, he is authored a book chapter titled “Advancements and Innovations in Solvent-Based Extraction Techniques,” published in Green Analytical Chemistry by Elsevier (2025).
His research interested in Nanotechnology, extraction techniques, dyes and metals removal, environmental analysis and technical expertise includes operating advanced analytical instruments such as Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometers, UV/Visible spectrophotometers, HPLC, GC, FTIR spectrometers, conductivity meters, and pH meters.
