Biography

Ms. Salma Idrees is an educationist, career coach, and researcher with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in teaching, educational development, and student guidance. She holds an M.Phil. in Educational Leadership and Management from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), a B.Ed. (Hons) from Sukkur IBA University, and international academic experience in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Missouri, USA. Her academic journey reflects her deep commitment to meaningful learning experiences and promoting academic excellence. With several years of experience across diverse educational settings, Ms. Idrees has developed a learner-centered approach grounded in theory, practice, and reflective pedagogy. Her professional portfolio includes roles in higher education, career development, and professional development training, where she has designed curricula, facilitated large-scale workshops, mentored students, and led impactful employability initiatives for students of different backgrounds. She has contributed extensively to career development courses, education courses, monitoring and evaluation, and industry engagement activities, equipping students with essential professional and interpersonal skills. Her work in guidance and counselling, particularly through personalized coaching, has supported countless students in making informed academic and career decisions. Her research spans qualitative and quantitative studies on student retention, artificial intelligence as a career choice, and subject-specific pedagogy.
